What might have been $90,000 in a Riverton, Kansas man’s pocket, turned into a felony drug arrest late last week when a drug-sniffing K-9 alerted on 40 year old Marvin Sill after cops stopped his vehicle near 17th and Maiden Lane in Joplin, MO.

Police seized $2,000 in cash, along with about a pound of meth before arresting Sills on “suspicion of possession with intent to distribute.” The meth itself is worth about $18,000 before it is broken down to street level amounts to sell, which shoots its value up to about $90,000.

The $2,000 the suspect had on him is considered to be evidence that the man “evidently” was carrying $2,000 on him….AKA a legal way for the cops to take your cash.
